8 STEPS FOR A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE ADVENTURE
Step 1 – Temperature checks and COVID screening
All staff and visitors will be temperature checked on arrival to ensure their temperature is no higher than 37.8C. If above, they are to return home and seek medical advice. Every participant will also be asked a series of COVID screening questions prior to arrival & again on arrival.
Step 2 – Reduced capacity – Pre-booking is essential
We have reduced our capacity on each session. Sessions will start at 30 minute intervals to ensure social distancing can be maintained around our courses. Whilst visiting, your small group will be able to enjoy our vast open outdoor space.
Step 3 – Online waivers, booking and video induction
We have adapted our booking systems so you can complete the waivers & booking online prior to arrival. We have included the link to our video induction which you must watch ahead of your visit. These adaptations will reduce face to face time and allow for more time on the course. When you arrive you will still have an instructor lead induction. Watching the video gives you a head start so you can complete the physical induction quicker.
Step 4 – A one-way system around our woodland plus enhanced signage
On arrival participants will be escorted via our one-way system from our check in area, down to our ropes course. During the session, you will follow a one-way system around our courses and then again when leaving the site. This is to reduce crossing paths with other participants and to help maintain social distancing. We have 9 different routes and activities available making social distancing a lot easier for you.
Step 5 – Hand washing stations & enhanced cleaning routines
We have hand washing stations spread around all our courses and in all these key areas; entrance, exit, the start of each course and activity, check in, decked area, seating area and out on course. We ask you to wash your hands regularly and remember to not touch your face. Our staff will be completing an enhanced cleaning routine, ensuring high risk surfaces are wiped often, toilets are cleaned regularly and our harnesses and equipment cleaned thoroughly between uses. We ask you to take home your litter, leave only footsteps.
Step 6 – Customer PPE recommendations & staff PPE during unavoidable close contact
All customers are welcome to wear masks and gloves when visiting. You MUST bring a neck buff, scarf or face covering with you & wear it when a team member checks your harness or during a rescue. Our staff will wear PPE during harness checks, clipping participants onto activities, first aid incidents, rescues & during moments of unavoidable close contact.
Step 7 – A dedicated instructor assigned to your group
Each group of participants will have their own dedicated instructor who will take you through check in, induction & harness fitting. When you venture onto our main courses you will be assisted by all of our onsite instructors if you need help. Our instructors will all follow social distance guidelines & will be on hand to deliver a personal touch to your visit.
Step 8 – Exclusive hire of our High Ropes courses
If you are looking to exclusively hire our ropes courses for your group or family bubble, we can accommodate you. An exclusive hire will give you the freedom to explore our courses and activities privately with our instructors on hand to deliver a fun and enjoyable session. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to make the booking.
